A communications satellite (sometimes abbreviated to SATCOM) is an artificial satellite stationed in space for the purposes of telecommunications. Modern communications satellites use a variety of orbits including geostationary orbits, Molniya orbit, other elliptical orbits and low ( polar and non-polar) Earth orbits.
For fixed ( point-to-point) services, communications satellites provide a microwave radio relay technology complementary to that of submarine communication cables. They are also used for mobile applications such as communications to ships, vehicles, planes and hand-held terminals, and for TV and radio broadcasting, for which application of other technologies, such as cable, is impractical or impossible

amplify and sort or route these signals. In earlier days they functioned much like ground microwave repeaters but with greatly increased coverage. With the advent of on-board processing, switching and rerouting of signals has been added to the functionality of some communications satellites, making them “switchboards in the sky.”

what i learn from assigment part1, we must survey very carefully before to buy laptop, printer, pc and etc. This because if we did not survey, potential the seller to cheat us is bigger..So i advise all of you, do survey...OK!!!! it is not very hard,just go one shop to another shop..simple right..then ask the specification of the hardware or sofware...

When my friends and i went to MP to find and do research about assisgment part 1....
we decided to went to Sir Pauzi perfume shop at DP, hehehehe..
my friend and i find a right perfume with test our hygiene with the perfume to know whether the perfume suitable for us.


Blueberry Pancake
Prep time: 20 minutes
Ingredients:
3/4 c. flour
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. margarine
1 egg
3/4 c. milk
1/2 c. blueberries, washed and drained
extra margarine for the pan
Directions:
In a large bowl, sift together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Set the bowl aside.
Melt the margarine in a small saucepan.
Crack the egg into a medium-size bowl, then add the milk and melted margarine.
Whisk until everything is well mixed.
Add the flour mixture to the egg mixture. Whisk again until both mixtures are blended together.
Put extra margarine in the saucepan and heat it on the stovetop on medium heat. It is hot enough when the margarine starts to bubble.
Use a measuring cup or a small ladle to spoon the batter into the pan to make 4 pancakes. Put some blueberries on top of each pancake.
Cook your pancakes on medium heat until small bubbles appear on the top.
Use a spatula to lift the edge of the pancakes to see whether they're light brown on the bottom. When they are, flip them over with the spatula.
Cook for another few minutes until the pancakes are light brown on the other side.
Remove your pancakes and put them on plates to enjoy!
Serves: 2

What Is Secondhand Smoke?



Secondhand smoke comes from both the smoke that smokers exhale (called mainstream smoke) and the smoke floating from the end of the cigarette, cigar, or pipe (called sidestream smoke).
It may seem pretty harmless, but secondhand smoke actually contains thousands of chemicals — from arsenic and ammonia to hydrogen cyanide — many of which have been proven to be toxic or to cause cancer (called carcinogens). High concentrations of many of these chemicals are found in secondhand smoke. In fact, secondhand smoke significantly increases a person's risk for:
1) respiratory infections (like bronchitis and pneumonia)
2) asthma
3) coughing, sore throats, sniffling, and sneezing
4) cancer
5) heart disease
So secondhand smoke doesn't just impact a person in the future. It can cause problems right now, like affecting someone's sports performance or ability to be physically active.


What Is Yoga?



It seems like a hot new trend, but yoga actually began more than 3,000 years ago in India. The word yoga is Sanskrit (one of the ancient languages of the East). It means to "yoke," or unite, the mind, body, and spirit.
Although yoga includes physical exercise, it is also a lifestyle practice for which exercise is just one component. Training your mind, body, and breath, as well as connecting with your spirituality, are the main goals of the yoga lifestyle.
The physical part of the yoga lifestyle is called hatha yoga. Hatha yoga focuses on asanas, or poses. A person who practices yoga goes through a series of specific poses while controlling his or her breathing. Some types of yoga also involve meditation and chanting.
There are many different types of hatha yoga, including:

Ashtanga yoga: Ashtanga yoga is a vigorous, fast-paced form of yoga that helps to build flexibility, strength, concentration, and stamina. When doing Ashtanga yoga, a person moves quickly through a set of predetermined poses while remaining focused on deep breathing.
Bikram yoga: Bikram yoga is also known as "hot yoga." It is practiced in rooms that may be heated to more than 100° Fahrenheit (37.8° Celsius) and focuses on stamina and purification.
Gentle yoga: Gentle yoga focuses on slow stretches, flexibility, and deep breathing.
Kundalini yoga: Kundalini yoga uses different poses, breathing techniques, chanting, and meditation to awaken life energy.
Iyengar yoga: This type of yoga focuses on precise alignment of the poses. Participants use "props" like blankets, straps, mats, blocks, and chairs.
Restorative yoga: This practice allows the body to fully relax by holding simple postures passively for extended periods of time.
Vinyasa/power yoga: Similar to Ashtanga yoga, these are also very active forms of yoga that improve strength, flexibility, and stamina. This type of yoga is popular in the United States.
Yoga has tons of benefits. It can improve flexibility, strength, balance, and stamina. In addition, many people who practice yoga say that it reduces anxiety and stress, improves mental clarity, and even helps them sleep better.
